Blue Vector to Participate in Motorola’s RFID in Motion Seminar
One-day event will offer a chance to see firsthand the latest RFID technologies, solutions and applications
Palo Alto, Calif. – July 3, 2007 – Blue Vector Systems, a leading platform provider for RFID automation systems, is participating in an educational RFID event entitled RFID in Motion sponsored by Motorola.
At this one-day event, attendees will have the opportunity to network with leading RFID experts and learn firsthand how RFID can offer real solutions both inside and outside the four walls of an enterprise. Blue Vector will give a 30 minute presentation on RFID and WIP (Work in Process) tracking. WIP tracking ensures goods in various stages throughout the plant reach their final destination.
“Many customers are continuing to adopt RFID technology for internal operations, as a closed loop system,” said Ed Wodarski, vice president of alliances for Blue Vector. “Our solution is designed to automate WIP tracking and enable real-time visibility to manufacturing operations. The ability to deploy RFID in three or four areas of operations is a huge benefit for customers, and provides cost-effective solutions to ensure business processes are seamless throughout the supply chain.”
Blue Vector’s web-based appliances are capable of managing a wide variety of sensors and integrate with enterprise applications such as ERP and warehouse management solutions. Blue Vector maximizes operational performance and minimizes implementation costs by providing a highly scalable, network-centric infrastructure for operational automation and increased quality and security, eliminating the need for middleware and other custom software.
Motorola’s RFID in Motion seminar is Thursday, July 12, 2007 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at The Crown Plaza Perimeter NW in Atlanta, GA. To register for this event, please visit http://www.b-there.com/arm/rfid2007.
